The Future – Post Pandemic

General Sessions
Wednesday, July 28, 2021
8:00 am – 12:30 pm

Digitization, automation and globalization have sparked radical shifts in the way we live and work; and the global pandemic has accelerated these trends beyond anything imagined.

As the way we live, work, and do business moves ever more online, and the events of the past year created disruptions with orders of magnitude greater than what organizations were used to dealing with, it became unequivocally clear that point-in-time responses were not enough.

Connectivity – especially gigabit speed, fiber-enabled gigabit connectivity – is foundational to the use of technology to adapt to a new environment of always on, always connected, distance learning, remote healthcare, work and communications. As gigabit fiber networks continue to proliferate, the way we work, learn, teach and communicate will continue to change. Often at an accelerated pace.

To understand where we as an industry — and we as a society — are changing, we invited three of the leading minds at work today in, simply, The Future of Work, Healthcare and Education. One the morning of Wednesday, July 28, these global leaders in health, in human resources, in education and more, will paint a picture for the audience of what changes are coming, and what they are doing in their jobs to usher in a new era of communications, computing and the intersection with human interaction.

Open to all Fiber Connect Attendees!
